Daphne comes from a family of artists; her Aunt Imogene nurtured Daphne’s love of art, taught her to oil paint at a young age and she has continued to paint and create art on many different levels. Daphne created several series of paintings to commemorate her aunt’s work. She in turn mentors her daughter and niece in their artistic endeavors. Daphne works mostly in acrylics, but has worked in many other mediums to create paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and other works of art. She has volunteered in her children’s schools to promote and teach art.
